Jane Goodall's Legacy
Although many experts were skeptical of Jane Goodall's ability to properly conduct the study on primates, Jane Goodall was able to extract extraordinary information from the primates at Gombe. In fact, Goodall is known for discovering a number of things about primates, which include: the fact that primates actually have a lot in common with humans, chimpanzees make their own tools, and chimpanzees are not always peaceful, in fact, they participate in infantacide and warfare.

In addition to her striking discoveries, Goodall is also famous for her attempts to educate people about the ethical treatment of animals. Which she was able to accomplish in the novel she wrote called The Chimpanzee Family Book, targeted towards children.

Although Jane Goodall lacked a formal scientific education, she was able to unveil the similarities primates had with humans. (Based on her observations in Tanzania)
